What is the Leifeng Pagoda? Located on Hangzhou’s Sunset Hill, south of the West Lake, Leifeng Pagoda is a five-story tower with eight sides. It was originally built in 975 AD. This was during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, and the construction was ordered by King Qian Chu of Wuyue.
